Featured Family Events in June

June 2019

The lakeshore communities of West Michigan do a fantastic job of hosting events and activities that include the whole family. There's so much happening that is geared specifically toward kids and families as a whole, and that's part of what makes being here so amazing!

Every season in West Michigan has it's unique, fun things to do for kids of all ages- from babies up to the "young at heart". Indoors or outdoors, no matter the time of year, there's always something great going on along the lakeshore for families to experience together!

Now through Friday, July 19th

Ludington Soccer Club Fall 2019 Registration. Visit ludingtonrecsoccer.com or e-mail ludingtonrecsoccer@gmail.com for more information.

June 17th-August 2nd

Free summer meals for kids. Non-income based program offered by the Mason County Central Food Service for all children ages 18 and younger. Serving days are Monday-Friday with the exception of the Upper Elementary which is closed on Fridays. Daily Schedule:
8-8:30am - Breakfast at the Scottville Upper Elementary School- 505 W. Maple St.
11:15am-12:15pm - Lunch at the Scottville Upper Elementary School and Pere Marquette School- 1115 S. Madison St. in Ludington.
11am-12:30pm - Lunch at Emanuel Lutheran Church- 501 E. Danaher St. in Ludington and the Ludington Library- 217 E. Ludington Ave.
11:15am-12:30pm - Lunch at Waterfront Park- 300 S. William St. in Ludington.

7pm - Live music with NTO Tom & Jerry at the Scottville Clown Band Shell- 105 W. Green St.

AAUW Used Book Sale at Lakeview Elementary School- 502 W. Haight St. in Ludington.

Relay for Life at Oriole Field in Ludington.

8am-5pm - Custer Village Yard Sale.

12-5pm - Big Sable Point Lighthouse Bus Tour & live music with AsperGrass. Music from 1:30-3:30pm. Buses run from the Ludington State Park ranger's house to the lighthouse for an additional fee.

45th Annual Irons Flea Roast & Ox Market at Skinner Park in Irons.

11am-1:30pm - Annual Barn Dance & Potluck at the Circle Rocking "S" Children's Farm- 5487 Tuttle Rd. in Free Soil. Bring table service and a dish to pass. Features dancing, games, and prizes.

5-8pm - Live music with Tom Zatarga at Legacy Plaza- 112 N. James St. in Ludington.

7pm - Live music with The JetBeats at the Hart Commons in downtown Hart.

8-9pm - Pentwater Civic Band performance at the Village Green in Pentwater.

8-10pm - Sunset Beach Bonfire with live music by Jimmy Dodson at Stearns Park Beach in Ludington.

Kitten and Cat Adoption Event at the Mason County Animal Control- 305 N. Meyers Rd. in Ludington. Adoption fees waived at the event. Spay/neuter fee is $25.

Manistee Saints vs. Michigan Sports Academy- Livingston Semi-prof baseball at Rietz Park- 90 Park Ave. Manistee.

10am & 1pm - West Michigan Old Engine Club Garden Tractor Pulls at Scottville Riverside Park- 700 S. Scottville Rd. Dead-boat pull at 10am and transfer sled pull at 1pm.

1-4pm - Live music with Clear Heels in Bear Lake.

6-9pm - Ludrock All Stars at the Shagway Arts Barn- 5949 Shagway Rd. in Ludington.

7-9pm - Live music with Robin Connell/Paul Brewer Quartet at Wenger Pavilion in Baldwin.

9:30pm - Pentwater Boat Parade of Lights (formerly the Venetian Boat Parade) on Pentwater Lake. Theme is "Adventures in Books" and all boat sizes and types are welcome to participate.
